Paper chars at 420 degrees Fahrenheit.  During a 1700 degree fire, our Fire Files and Record Safes will maintain an internal temperature of no more than 350 degrees for 1 hour. Custom Fireproof filing cabinets are tested by UL and carry the UL Class 350, 1 hour fire rating, as well as the UL 2000 degree F Explosion Hazard resistant rating.
